Caldive FPAL Verified

Caldive has successfully completed it’s very first ‘FPAL Verify’ assessment, in addition to registering with Achilles FPAL in March 2016.

Achilles FPAL Verify is a Supplier audit that involves a two-day visit.  The formal audit process carried out at Caldive’s Invergordon base covered Quality, Health & Safety, Environment and Competence & Training practices.

In line with our philosophy of continuous improvement, the Caldive team is now implementing the auditors’ recommendations to further enhance our scores during the improvement opportunity phase of the process.

Bridle Change Out on Sedco 704

Caldive used their vessel Woodstock I to replace the towing bridles on the Sedco 704 at it’s offshore anchorage in the Moray Firth.  In addition to the installation of the bridles, the Caldive crew carried out the welding and NDT on the pontoon connections.

The work was carried out on time and on budget.

We were please that Transocean placed their trust in Caldive to complete this essential operation within the short window of opportunity available before the rig’s departure date.

Registered with Achilles FPAL

Maersk Deliverer Completion
