Shipping
We provide high-quality, responsive diving services for the shipping industry. We have proven experience in providing class surveys, inspection, impact damage assessments, hull cleaning, propeller clearance and salvage. With a 24-hour call-out service, the highest level of accreditation and a large pool of experienced divers, we can respond quickly and safely to clients in the UK and beyond.
All our dive spreads are equipped with HD camera systems to allow topside observation of diver activities. We have our own wide range of load-certified lifting bags, a self-propelled crane barge and work boats for specialist lifting and towing. We offer a full range of hull maintenance services including IIACS approved survey, welding, anode replacement, propeller polishing, cofferdam and thruster replacement.
Caldive carry out the following principal tasks:
- Hull cleaning
- Propeller polishing
- Cofferdam design and installation
- In-water survey accredited by all major classification societies
- Anode replacement
- In-water NDT including eddy current testing, MPI and ultrasonics
